Seems ages since I last wrote anything so what's been happening. Maja and I went to the Scottish Kennel Club show and didn't get placed. She looked very immature besides the other dogs who to me seemed huge -perhaps she is a late developer! However, on the way back we went to a busy tourist spot for a walk. Lots of people, children and dogs and the only bad thing she did was to eat some crisps spilt on the ground. She is friendly with everyone but not in too bouncy a way. So although disappointed by the show her easy going behaviour more than made up for it.
She still finds time to relax in the sun with her friend Kobe and also to annoy him at times!
Cheese on the go - can we have some please!
We also had our Kennel Club Good citizen Bronze Award test which we , amazingly, passed without much trouble. Pictures below show Maja doing the controlled 'through the gate' exercise. Although the weather doesn't look too bad it was freezing cold hence the amount of clothing worn!
A nice evening down the fields from the house. The roof of the house can just be seen peeping through the trees. The neighbours who own the fields have kindly cut nice paths around so it is very pleasant walking round the fields and then along the river
The evening light is fading fast these days or as they say up here - "aye, the nights are fair drawing in", so the photo below is not quite sharp but worth putting in I thought. Maja never walks when she can run and enjoys life to the full!
Ready to pounce on Hamish!
Waiting for the "OK" command before getting out the car for their walk!
A view of Maja often seen on a walk, that's when she's not off chasing scents!
A misty morning and all the cobwebs were on view.
Kobe with nose twitching smelling a deer. He and Maja disappeared after this, Hamish was tempted!
A dreich Scottish morning!
Ears in the cooling position!!
